On the afternoon of May 28, 2025, AgriS had the honor of welcoming a delegation from Austrade, the Australian Government's trade and investment development agency, led by Ms. Emma McDonald, Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner and joined by Mr Charith Amarasinghe, Vietnam Country Lead for Export Finance Australia. The meeting reaffirmed the long-standing partnership between AgriS, Austrade, and the Australian Government in advancing sustainable agriculture.
During the meeting, both parties shared recent initiatives aimed at promoting high-tech sustainable agriculture and enhancing circular value chains. These efforts not only highlight the potential for economic collaboration between Vietnam and Australia but also between Australia and the broader Southeast Asia region.

For AgriS, Australia is a key market in its strategy for R&D and business expansion in AgTech and FoodTech. The company also expressed its intent to leverage strong connections with leading domestic research institutes and universities to optimize training and talent exchange between the two countries, particularly in the area of R&D. With this foundation, AgriS reaffirmed its commitment to supporting both the Vietnamese and Australian governments in fostering bilateral cooperation, especially in agricultural economics.
