Therefore, establishing a strong agricultural research organization is essential to drive the application of scientific and technological innovations in the field, address crop-related challenges in a direct, integrated, and long-term manner across the Company's farming areas, and contribute to the sustainable and efficient development of both AgriS's agricultural operations and Vietnam's agricultural sector as a whole.
Founded in 2013, the TTC Agricultural Research Institute (TTC ARI) plays a pivotal role in advancing high-tech agriculture and sustainable development within the AgriS ecosystem. Guided by the mission of placing scientific research, technology, and innovation at the core of its activities, TTC ARI develops practical solutions to address real-world challenges in sugarcane cultivation, expands research into other crops, and enhances the competitiveness and resilience of the broader agricultural industry.
By 2025, TTC ARI aims to become a leading institution in multidisciplinary, green, and sustainable agricultural research and applications. The Institute conducts advanced scientific research, technology transfer, international cooperation, and high-tech agricultural consulting services in both domestic and international markets. It also carries out research, experimentation, and the production of high-quality plant varieties and livestock breeds using advanced technologies.

TTC ARI represents an important milestone in AgriS's strategy to develop sustainable farming areas. The Institute focuses on improving soil health and nutrient management as fundamental drivers of environmental sustainability, while international collaboration serves as a key enabler for accessing and adopting cutting-edge agricultural technologies.
- Biotechnology Innovation and Variety Development: TTC ARI will continue optimizing tissue culture technologies to provide disease-free sugarcane seedlings, meeting 100% of the planting material demand in AgriS's farming areas. The Institute is also researching value-added products derived from sugarcane bagasse, such as edible mushrooms and greenhouse growing substrates, while expanding variety research for other crops including pineapple and banana to diversify products and increase economic value.
- Sustainable Pest Management: The Institute will scale up the production of ABI beneficial insects to serve up to 60,000 hectares annually, while developing native biological control agents such as big-eyed bugs and minute pirate bugs, alongside eco-friendly solutions for weed and disease management. These initiatives aim to improve sugarcane yield and sugar content while minimizing environmental impacts and promoting safe, sustainable agriculture.

Research priorities include optimizing planting density, fertilizer regimes, soil improvement, and early crop maturation to enhance harvesting efficiency, while developing new biological products that support plant growth and resilience.
- Agricultural Extension and Technology Partnerships: The Institute develops pioneering agricultural extension models to transfer technology and knowledge to farmers, improving cultivation skills and crop quality. At the same time, TTC ARI strengthens collaboration with domestic and international AgTech partners and applies satellite data to monitor fields, assess crop health, forecast yields, and optimize large-scale farm management.
