On the morning of June 3rd, AgriS (HOSE: SBT) welcomed Madam Chiou Ye Chin, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of First Commercial Bank (FCB), along with a delegation visiting AgriS headquarters. The meeting further strengthened the collaborative relationship in agricultural finance between AgriS and FCB, a leading Taiwanese bank with over 125 years of history.
This meeting builds upon the partnership established in 2023 when AgriS secured a syndicated loan of up to USD 100 million from a group of nine Taiwanese financial institutions, with FCB acting as the Mandated Lead Arranger and Bookrunner, responsible for arranging and managing the loan. Since then, FCB has supported AgriS in various financing and credit activities that contributed to the company's agricultural operations.
During the meeting, Ms. Đặng Huỳnh Ức My, Chairlady of the Board of Directors at AgriS, shared updates on the company’s transformation, from a traditional agricultural business to a high-tech, integrated, circular and sustainable value chain model offering smart agricultural solutions. She also highlighted FCB’s vital role in enabling AgriS to access trusted financial resources to support its business expansion into new markets.

Through Madam Chiou’s remarks, FCB expressed confidence in and appreciation for AgriS’s achievements in recent years. In addition, representatives from both sides discussed future cooperation opportunities between FCB and AgriS in developing green financial capacity, laying the groundwork for capital support as the company pursues market expansion.

Previously, AgriS had established several green financial partnerships both domestically and internationally with institutions such as BIDV, MB, UOB, and IFC. These collaborations aim to build a green financial system and provide capital support for sustainable agricultural development. This latest meeting with FCB further reinforces AgriS's position as a premier destination for green funding from financial institutions at home and abroad.
