As part of the Tay Ninh Investment Promotion Conference 2026, the Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Committee and AgriS (Thanh Thanh Cong – Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company, HOSE: SBT) continued to expand their cooperation in science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation in agriculture.

With planned investment exceeding VND 12 trillion, the cooperation aims to integrate technology, data, and modern production models into agricultural value chains, while expanding processing capacity, logistics infrastructure, and raw material areas in the province.

Connecting Investment Resources for Tay Ninh’s New Development Phase

Alongside 650 delegates representing diplomatic agencies, international organizations, businesses, and domestic and international investors, AgriS was honored to participate in the Tay Ninh Investment Promotion Conference 2026.

The scale of the projects announced at the conference reflected Tay Ninh’s strong direction to mobilize social resources for its next stage of development, as the province seeks to sustain high growth, promote import and export activities, strengthen regional connectivity, and attract projects with greater technological content and added value.

Within this context, the cooperation program between AgriS and the Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Committee further expands the participation of businesses in the province’s growth model transformation, particularly in the field of high-tech agriculture.

Advancing Agricultural Transformation Through Technology and Data

Building on the cooperation framework previously established between AgriS and Tay Ninh Province, the two sides are focusing on three key directions: integrating science and technology, data, and digital transformation into agricultural production through DemoFarm, DigiFarm, and the digitalization of cultivation areas; enhancing production, processing, logistics, and technology-transfer capabilities; and developing concentrated raw material areas while restructuring crops based on economic efficiency and stronger market linkages.

The cooperation and investment initiatives under consideration have a planned value of more than VND 12 trillion. Each specific project will continue to be studied, complete the required procedures, and be implemented in accordance with planning, actual conditions, and applicable regulations.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Đặng Huỳnh Ức My – Vice Chairlady of the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (VINASME), Member of the Vietnam National Data Association, and Chairlady of AgriS – shared: “The most important aspect of this cooperation program does not lie in the scale of financial resources. We expect this cooperation model to help Tay Ninh make more effective use of its land resources, increase the value of agricultural products, and develop value chains capable of competing internationally. Ultimately, our goal is to accompany Tay Ninh’s agricultural sector in creating greater value from the same unit of resources, improving productivity and product quality, expanding traceability, and meeting international standards.”

Ms. My emphasized that, for AgriS, the cooperation program represents a commitment to accompanying Tay Ninh in building new competitive capabilities for its agricultural sector and strengthening its integration into global value chains.

At the exhibition area, AgriS also showcased high-tech agricultural solutions, digitalization solutions, mechanized equipment models, commercial products, and value-added products. The exhibition reflected how AgriS integrates data, digital governance, mechanization, production, processing, and commerce across the agricultural value chain.

Building a Foundation for High-Tech Agricultural Development in Tay Ninh

The new cooperation direction builds on AgriS’s long-standing operations in Tay Ninh. The Company currently develops more than 20,000 hectares of sugarcane raw material areas, supported by two processing plants with a combined capacity of approximately 1.5 million tonnes per year. In the fruit segment, AgriS has developed nearly 600 hectares of export-oriented banana farms at Thanh Long and Tan Chau, certified to Global G.A.P. standards, supplying approximately 30,000 tonnes of products annually to Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and Singapore.

In the first six months of 2026 alone, AgriS recorded more than VND 3.5 trillion in export revenue, of which operations in the Tay Ninh area contributed more than VND 2.9 trillion, equivalent to 82% of the Company’s total export revenue.

As part of its long-term engagement with the province, AgriS has also strengthened discussions with provincial leaders on high-tech agricultural models. Recently, a Tay Ninh provincial delegation led by Mr. Nguyễn Văn Quyết, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee, conducted a field visit to AgriS’s high-tech agricultural model and Thanh Long Banana Farm. The visit provided an opportunity to discuss the potential expansion of raw material areas, greater technology adoption, and ways to enhance the value of agricultural products in the province.

More recently, in July 2026, Bien Hoa – Thanh Long Joint Stock Company, an AgriS member company, officially commenced operations of a Tetra Recart production line at the Thanh Thanh Cong – Bien Hoa Agricultural Processing Complex in Ninh Dien Commune, Tay Ninh Province.Covering 37 hectares with total investment of more than VND 1.7 trillion, the complex began producing sugarcane juice and other beverages and processed agricultural products following the completion of Phase 1. Coconut milk was the first commercial product from the new line, meeting food safety standards and export requirements.

The commissioning of the Tetra Recart line marks another step in AgriS’s strategy to increase the level of processing and commercial value of agricultural products. Building on its existing raw material areas, production, and processing capabilities, the cooperation program with the Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Committee creates further opportunities for AgriS to connect science and technology, data, value-chain organization capabilities, and markets.

Through its cooperation with Tay Ninh, AgriS aims to contribute to enhancing the value of agricultural products, improving productivity and product quality, expanding traceability, and meeting international standards. At the same time, the partnership is expected to create a stronger foundation for deep processing, exports, and green and circular agricultural models. This is also how AgriS is translating its commitment to accompanying the province into concrete action, helping create new growth drivers based on science and technology, investment, and productivity.
